The Education Committee is responsible for reviewing and recommending all Continuing Education, NAR Designation Courses, and monthly Power Lunches that will be offered at the Association during the calendar year. The Committee also reviews the New Member Orientation Program and recommends any necessary changes. The Education Committee meets 4-5 times per year or as needed. 

The Finance and Facilities Committee reviews the Association's financial statements and the annual budget before submission to the Board of Directors.It also makes recommendations for needed repairs or updates to the Volusia Ave headquarters and any. The Finance and Facilities Committee meets 2-4 times per year. 

Only REALTOR members are eligible to serve on this committee. 2026 Chair - Andrew Comeens, Treasurer

The Global Business Committee meets on an as-needed basis to introduce new education, programs, and events to members of the association regarding international real estate and working with foreign nationals, to ensure members are prepared to succeed when working on international transactions. All REALTOR members are invited to sit on this committee.

The Legislative & RPAC Committee monitors legislative issues impacting private property rights, housing, and affordability, while advocating for REALTORS® and consumers. The committee works with elected officials, interviews candidates for office, and makes recommendations for RPAC funding.

Members also support RPAC by assisting with fundraising efforts, educating members on the importance of RPAC, and encouraging participation and investment. All members are eligible to serve. Meetings are typically held monthly on the 2nd Thursday at 1:30 PM.

The Member Services Committee plans social and networking events for the year, the annual awards and installation gala and also attends to any special sessions that would be needed to update members on important items such as contract changes.  The committee is also responsible for reviewing any new products or services that are being proposed for the membership.  The committee also conducts all surveys, and reviews all special requests for programs or services by the membership.   This committee meets 3-5 times per year.

The MLS Advisory Committee meets quarterly to give suggestions, recommendations and feedback on items that affect the operation of the Multiple Listing Service. The committee is chaired by the MAC Representative from Stellar MLS. Only REALTOR members are eligible to serve on this committee. 2026 Chair - Jessie Thomas

This committee is composed of MANY members and is often referred to as the "jury duty" committee. A small number of diverse members may be called to sit on hearing panels should a complaint be forwarded from our grievance committee. Training in February 2026 is required to sit on this committee and will be provided by the Board at no cost and includes 3CE credits for Code of Ethics. Only REALTOR members are eligible to serve on this committee. Sitting Members of the Board of Directors as well as the Grievance Committee CAN NOT serve on the Professional Standards Committee. This Committee does not meet as a group/whole but instead a few members at a time may be called on when necessary throughout the calendar year to serve on panels. 

The Grievance Committee reviews ethics complaints as well as requests for arbitration to determine if they merit a hearing from the Professional Standards Committee. There are only 5 members of the committee, and each individual serves a 2-year term. There cannot be more than one individual from a single real estate company on the Grievance Committee. This committee is only open to REALTOR members. A training in February with free Code of Ethics credit is required to serve on this committee.

YPN helps real estate professionals excel in their careers by giving them the tools and encouragement to become involved in four core areas by attending Realtor conferences and pursue leadership roles with their local, state, and national association, by taking an active role in policy discussions and advocacy issues; being informed about the latest industry news and trends. Networks and learns from one another by attending events, participating in online communication, and seeking out mentoring opportunities and Become exceptional members of their community by demonstrating a high level of REALTOR® professionalism and volunteering for causes they feel passionate about. WVARs YPN plans many of the community outreach programs as well as topical educational offerings.  This group meets monthly for 1 hour.
